SECTION COLLECTION INFORMATION

Dear Colleagues,

The rapid growth in global energy demand and the urgent need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions have accelerated the development of advanced energy conversion technologies. Efficient energy conversion plays a critical role in transforming primary energy sources into usable forms such as electricity, heat, and mechanical power. Innovations in energy conversion technologies are essential for achieving sustainable development and supporting the transition toward low-carbon energy systems.

Recent research efforts have focused on improving the efficiency, reliability, and environmental sustainability of various energy conversion processes. Technologies such as solar photovoltaic systems, fuel cells, thermoelectric generators, waste heat recovery systems, hydrogen energy technologies, and advanced power generation systems are gaining significant attention. In addition, emerging materials and innovative system designs are enabling new opportunities for improving energy conversion performance.

This special issue aims to present the latest research developments in energy conversion technologies that contribute to sustainable and clean energy systems. It will provide a platform for researchers, engineers, and scientists to share their findings on innovative technologies, advanced materials, and system-level solutions that improve energy conversion efficiency and support sustainable energy development.
