    Special Issue Information

    This Special Issue focuses on the innovative applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies in the field of sound and vibration. It explores how advancements in sensing, edge computing, machine learning, deep learning, and cloud-based big data analytics can help scientists and engineers more effectively monitor, analyze, and control various noise and vibration challenges. We particularly welcome submissions from existing authors and readers of Sound & Vibration, as well as researchers from related fields, encouraging topics ranging from theoretical analysis and numerical simulations to experimental studies. Possible areas of contribution include (but are not limited to):

    • Development and optimization of models for complex sound and vibration systems
    • AI/IoT-based intelligent fault diagnosis and predictive maintenance
    • Real-time sensing and feedback control through Digital Twin technologies
    • Practical applications and case studies in manufacturing, transportation, construction engineering, and other related domains

    By providing a platform to showcase cutting-edge research and practical implementations, this Special Issue aims to promote high-efficiency, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions in sound and vibration technologies.
