    Special Issue Information

    Dear colleagues,

Mobile healthcare is transformed by introducing vibroacoustic sensing, AI, and wearables. These systems support continuous, real-time monitoring of respiratory, cardiac, and musculoskeletal function near the body without requiring any cloud connectivity. This special issue invites innovative methods that combine embedded AI, IoT, and low-power sensing for next-generation mobile health diagnostics.

Interdisciplinary submissions are encouraged and can range from hardware design, AI algorithms, embedded systems, and digital health platforms.
Topics include, but are not limited to:
    • Embedded AI for the classification of sound/vibration signals
    • Low-energy wearable vibroacoustic systems
    • Real-time monitoring on-device of respiration, heart, or joint function
    • Edge federated learning for privacy-preserving health AI
    • Multimodal wearables that combine vibroacoustics with biosignals
    • Offline diagnostic inference with minimal dependence on the cloud
    • Miniaturized sensor design and integration
