Special Issue Information

Dear colleagues,

The sound propagation in complex media is the theoretical basis of acoustic engineering and has wide applications in industries, medical care, national defense and other fields. This special topic will focus on the research of the propagation characteristics of sound waves in various complex media, covering multiple research directions such as the optimal design of acoustic sensors, the analysis of guided wave characteristics, ultrasonic nondestructive testing, acoustics of porous media, solid acoustics and deep drilling measurement, metamaterials, ultrasonic imaging, vibration and noise reduction, etc. Through the display of relevant research results, it is to further promote the application of acoustic technology in the detection of material and structural defects, geological and marine exploration, medical imaging and diagnosis, acoustic materials, noise control and other aspects.
