Dr. Yubo Qi is now an associate professor and a master supervisor at the State Key Laboratory of Acoustics, Institute of Acoustics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received the B.S. degree in Ocean Technology from Ocean University of China in 2010, and the Ph.D. degree in Acoustics from the Institute of Acoustics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2015. From 2013 to 2014, he was a joint training of doctoral student at the Applied Physics Laboratory, University of Washington. His research interests include source localization and detection in both shallow and deep water, geoacoustic inversion, and array signal processing. Dr. Qi has authored over forty research papers and been granted over ten patents. He is a reviewer for journals such as The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, JASA Express Letters, Applied Acoustics, and a communication reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He was awarded the President Prize of Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Frontrunner 5000 Top Articles in Outstanding S&T Journal of China. He has presided over five scientific research projects as the principal investigator including two projects founded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and participated as a core member in more than ten research projects.
Dr. Jin Bao Weng is now an associate professor at the Ocean Acoustics and Remote Sensing Laboratory, Third Institute of Oceanography, Ministry of Natural Resources. He received the B.S. degree in marine technology from Ocean University of China, Qingdao, China, in 2010 and the Ph.D. degree in acoustics from the State Key Laboratory of Acoustics, Institute of Acoustics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in 2015. In July 2015, he joined the Ocean Acoustics and Remote Sensing Laboratory, Third Institute of Oceanography, Ministry of Natural Resources, Xiamen, China. His research interests include sound field interference patterns analysis, ocean environment inversion, underwater target localization, and ocean reverberation.
Dr. Changpeng Liu obtained his Doctorate degree from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) in 2023 and joined the Institute of Acoustics (IACAS) the same year as a Special Research Assistant. His research interests focus on the interference patterns of underwater acoustic signals and the enhancement of array signal processing performance. His work covers aspects such as the interference characteristics of underwater acoustic signals, array beamforming techniques, striation transformation and image processing methods. To date, he has published over 11 academic papers and reports, including 7 SCI-indexed papers and 4 EI-indexed conference papers. Additionally, he has granted 12 invention patents. In 2023, Dr. Liu was awarded the grant of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation.
