Special Issue Information

Dear colleagues,

The ultrasonic drive refers to controlled drive of macro/micro/nanoscale objects, micro/nano fluid, and molecules by linear/nonlinear effects of the ultrasonic vibration in solid and fluid, and at the interfaces. Applications of ultrasonic drive include precision drive and positioning, nano fabrication, high-performance sensing, manipulations of biological samples, micro/nano sample treatment, etc. This Special Issue covers the latest advances in this field, and the topics in this issue include (but not limited to):

Materials, structures and working methods of ultrasonic/piezoelectric actuators
High-efficiency ultrasonic transducers
Various acoustic manipulations
Ultrasonic nano fabrication
Microfluidic devices
Ultrasonic cooling
Ultrasonic enhancement of chemical reactions
Modeling and analyses of acoustofluidic fields
