Copyright & License

Authors retain the copyright, and they agree to make their original work completely available and free to use, copy, download, distribute, and reuse as long as the original source is properly cited.

 

Articles will be published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License by default (only a small number of articles have been under CC BY-NC 4.0). The licensing information will be displayed both on the articles’ PDFs and their online abstract pages. Authors should apply for other licenses during the submission stage if preferring to another license.

 

According to this license (CC BY 4.0), users are free to:

  • Share: copy and redistribute the material;
  • Adapt: transform, reuse, remix and build upon the material;

as long as appropriate credit is given. Reuse of the published materials should not be in a way that suggest endorsement by the authors or the publisher.

 

For materials (such as figures, tables, and schemes) from other publications, authors should obtain permission from the original copyright holder before submitting to this journal.
