Special Issue Information

 

The integration of cyber and physical components in networked systems has revolutionized industries such as smart manufacturing, autonomous transportation, and energy grids. However, the growing complexity of these systems demands advanced methodologies for modeling, control, and cross-domain analysis. This special issue invites high-quality research addressing theoretical, computational, and practical challenges in networked cyber-physical systems (CPS). We aim to foster interdisciplinary discussions bridging control theory, computer science, communication networks, and applied engineering.

 

We welcome original contributions on (but not limited to):


1. Modeling Techniques: Hybrid system modeling, data-driven digital twins, uncertainty quantification, and distributed parameter systems.

2. Control Strategies: Resilient control under communication constraints, event-triggered control, distributed optimization, and AI-enhanced control algorithms.

3. System Analysis: Security/privacy preservation, fault diagnosis, real-time performance evaluation, and scalability studies.

4. Emerging Paradigms: Blockchain for CPS trust management, edge/cloud computing integration, and human-in-the-loop CPS design.

5. Applications: Case studies in smart grids, industrial IoT, connected vehicles, and healthcare systems.
