Special Issue Editors

Luigia Mocerino, PhD, University of Napoli Federico II. Her areas of expertise are environmental engineering, Marine engineering, and acoustic engineering. Dr. Luiga Mocerino has a professional research background in the field of ship noise and Marine engineering, where her work focuses on understanding and reducing the acoustic impact of ship operations on the environment. Through her in-depth research on ship noise, she is committed to developing and promoting technologies and strategies to reduce noise pollution in order to promote more sustainable and environmentally friendly modes of Marine transport.

Massimo Viscardi, Professor at the University of Napoli Federico II. His research interests are: aerospace structures; Air noise; Underwater noise; Noise control. Prof. Massimo Viscardi has deep expertise in the field of aerospace and acoustics, and has made significant contributions in particular to the study of noise control and noise effects. His research covers not only air noise, but also underwater noise, which shows the interdisciplinary character of Prof. Massimo Viscardi's research in the field of acoustics. Through his research, Professor Viscardi works to raise awareness of the problem of noise pollution and to provide scientific evidence and solutions for reducing the impact of noise on the environment and human health.
