Focus and Scope
Biomimetic Materials for Energy Systems (BMES) will focus on bioinspired materials for energy conversion, harvesting and storage. It is intended to attract submissions focusing on biomimetic catalyst development, nature-inspired energy systems, self-healing batteries, fuel cell membrane, supercapacitors and others. The journal targets to fill the gaps in sustainable energy systems through biomimetic materials, and to evaluate the environmental impacts of these materials utilization though life cycle assessment and techno-economic analysis.
