Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

In second language learning, paying attention to students’ abilities, learning needs, and learning styles is essential. Language teachers or instructors can use various methods and strategies, such as grammar-translation, communicative, and audiolingual approaches, to teach a second language. In addition, multimedia and technology such as language learning software and mobile apps can help facilitate more interactive and engaging second language learning.

Second language learning can provide significant benefits to individuals, such as opening up career opportunities, improving communication in a multilingual environment, and broadening understanding of different cultures and societies. Providing good feedback and opportunities for students to practice the language learned in real situations is also essential in second language learning.

This research topic aims to accelerate Language Teaching in Multicultural Contexts: The study of language teaching in multicultural contexts, such as culturally diverse language classes or language education for migrants. This includes the analysis of effective teaching strategies and evaluation methods in multicultural contexts.
