Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The main aim of this special issue is to bring together scholars working on the most intriguing aspects of (transnational) family language policy research, including but not limited to:
multilingualism
home/heritage language maintenance
digital literacies, digital practices
translanguaging
multilingual families and multilingual socialization
multilingual families and media
education and home/heritage language development
multilingual education
multilingual special education
teachers' and parents' attitudes on home/heritage language maintenance and development
Authors of papers related to these topics are invited to submit their work to the Special Issue for publication. For all authors, it is offered a reduction of $600 per paper, that is, an APC of $1000 per paper. Three outstanding articles will be published free of charge (this will depend on the feedback of the reviewers and the guest editor).
This Special Issue is partly dedicated to the International Conference on Research on Social and Affective Factors in Home Language Maintenance and Development (HOLM 2023) taking place at Tallinn University (see more here: https://www.tlu.ee/en/bfm/holm2023). The special issue is open to anyone who wants to submit their research!
