Description

Bridge Engineering Reports (BER) is an international, scientific, peer-reviewed, open access journal on art and science of bridge engineering. Papers will be solicited from researchers, designers, fabricators and contractors of significant bridge projects, covering a wide range of topics and interests to bridge engineers from all over the world. This journal is intended to provide state-of-the-art solutions to the emerging challenges and problems confronting the bridge engineering community. 

Topics include but are not limited to:

  • Innovation in the Structural Styles of Bridges;
  • Construction Materials;
  • Resistance of Wind, Seismic or Other Disasters;
  • Traffic on Bridges;
  • Health Monitoring and Damage Identification;
  • Artificial Intelligence Applications;

The new submission template for 2024 is now available online

We have revised the layout for articles to be published in the new issues, starting at the beginning of 2024. As of today, the article templates available for download on ‘Author Guidelines’ pages have been updated.

 The blank column on the left runs through all pages in an article. The revised layout was applied in the article pictured below, to serve as an example:
